Rhinoplasty is aimed to change the shape of the nose to create an aesthetic appearance. Evaluations are made in accordance with the face shape of each individual. The nostrils are intervened in the bone and cartilage structures that impair the aesthetic appearance. In addition to the aesthetic appearance, breathing problems resulting from the nose are solved simultaneously. The operation can be performed with open or closed method.
Who is convenient for this operation?
The operation is suitable for anyone who has developed bone and cartilage and has a good general health condition.

About the Operation

Operation takes about 1.5-2 hours under general anesthesia. Our patients are generally sent home the same day after the surgery.

After the Operation

Keeping the head elevated while sleeping helps reduce swelling. We recommend using the prescribed drugs correctly and not taking any other pain relievers than those prescribed for at least 2 weeks after the surgery.
From the 10th day, our patients show great improvement and can simply go back into social life. From the 3rd month, 80% of the edema is over. The nose takes its final shape at the end of the first year.

Secondary Nose Aesthetics

Secondary rhinoplasty is a revision surgery performed after the first rhinoplasty. This surgery includes a series of applications that require more experience and attention than surgeries performed formerly.
What kind of situations makes a second rhinoplasty a requirement?
Trouble with closure of the nose valve or not getting enough air in when taking a deep breath.
Aesthetic defect due to insufficient removal of the arch on the back of the nose in the first operation.
Failure to correct the drooping tip of the nose in the first operation or the swollen appearance of the tip of the nose.
Disproportion between nose and face. Insufficient reduction of the nose compared to the face in the first operation or reduction of it more than necessary.
Removal of appearance defects caused by a physical impact.

Why to consult a plastic surgeon before the surgery?

Secondary Nose Aesthetics The pre-operative interview with the patients who need Secondary Rhinoplasty is important in terms of the course of the surgery and the satisfaction of the patient. Secondary nose surgeries might not be a standard operation for every patient. The methods to be applied in the surgery are determined according to the situation of the nose and the demands from the people to be operated. The plastic surgeon who will perform the surgery explains the procedures that will be performed to the nose. The patient is informed about the tests and examinations that should be done before the operation. After these procedures, the operation is decided in accordance with the analysis and examination reports.
