Face Lift

Frankly, facelift is a series of surgical operations to conceal the signs of aging on the face and neck. When performed correctly by an experienced plastic surgeon:
Sagging on the mid-face is removed.
Wrinkles under the lower eyelids are reduced.
Deeper wrinkles along the corners of the mouth and nose are reduced.
The sagging under the chin is removed which makes the chin line clear.
Tissue and fat pads are repositioned to help you achieve a younger appearance.
Face lift surgery will increase your self-confidence with giving you a younger face that you love and cherish. When you feel comfortable with your face, your self-confidence boosts and you will age more gracefully gradually.

When is the Right Time for Surgery?

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons published an article in 2011 stating that there are many benefits to having a facelift when young and there are “early or minimal signs of facial aging.”
Most people do not consider having a face lift surgery until they are 50 years old. They talk about it when they are at their 60s or 70s, however; studies have shown that patients in their 50s or younger have better results than those who wait until they are too old to have a face lift.

Post-operation

Immediately after your procedure, your head and face will be wrapped loosely with bandages to protect the operated area to help minimize swelling and bruising.
In the first few weeks, there may be numbness, discoloration, and a feeling of pain in the operated area. You will be provided with detailed post-operative instructions and medications to get through this process.
Most of our patients can return to work after a full recovery period, which takes 10 days to several weeks.
