After rhinoplasty, most patients return to daily life within 7 to 10 days. A special splint is worn on the nose for the first week, and mild swelling or bruising is normal. Once the splint is removed, you can comfortably return to desk work. Full recovery, with the swelling resolving and the nose taking its final shape, takes between 6 months and 1 year depending on skin type.

Do aesthetic surgeries leave visible scars on the body or face?

In plastic surgery, our main goal is to hide incisions in the body’s natural creases (for example the breast fold, behind the ear or within the hairline). In the early period after surgery, scars may be slightly red, but over the months they fade, take on the skin’s colour and become largely unnoticeable. The scar creams we recommend for you during recovery speed up this process.

Can the nasal tip droop in later years after rhinoplasty?

In modern rhinoplasty techniques, the nasal tip is firmly supported with the patient’s own cartilage. When performed with the right surgical technique and a strengthened anatomical framework, no drooping or deformity of the nasal tip is expected in later years. The results are permanent.
