Mert Seçer completed high school at Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School and graduated from the English-language programme of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2013.
The same year he began his residency at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of Eskişehir Osmangazi University, completing it in 2018 and earning the title of Specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.
After his specialist training, he completed two years of compulsory service at Yozgat City Hospital.
Following his compulsory service, he continues his clinical practice at his private clinic in Suadiye, Istanbul.
Op. Dr. Mert Seçer is a member of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), EPCD (Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), TPRECD (Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) and the Istanbul Medical Chamber.

How long does recovery take after rhinoplasty (nose surgery)?
After rhinoplasty, most patients return to daily life within 7 to 10 days. A special splint is worn on the nose for the first week, and mild swelling or bruising is normal. Once the splint is removed, you can comfortably return to desk work. Full recovery, with the swelling resolving and the nose taking its final shape, takes between 6 months and 1 year depending on skin type.
Do aesthetic surgeries leave visible scars on the body or face?
